About sca-east-announce	English (USA)
This "announce" list is an attempt to allow people to subscribe to a list which only gives them the relevant EK news without all the other discussions. Frankly, the high volume of sca-east makes it very hard to follow without a large investment of time. Accepted postings would include (but aren't necessarily limited to) event announcements, lost and found notices, official travel auction updates, name/device submission reports, crown results, court reports, and EK news items. Follow-ups are automatically directed to the regular sca-east list. If you are subscribed to the regular sca-east list or the sca-east-digest and wish to continue to receive all postings, just sit tight and do nothing. You do NOT need to subscribe to sca-east-announce. The regular lists will receive all announcement postings without you doing anything else or joining any additional list. If you would ONLY like to receive the announcements and not the rest of the discussions, you need to unsubscribe from sca-east or sca-east-digest and subscribe to the sca-east-announce list *instead*. In order to make this new list work, you the posters need to send announcements (and *only* announcements) to the sca-east-announce list *instead* of to sca-east. Then they'll automatically go on to the regular list and digest. Submissions to the list should be sent to sca-east-announce@indra.com You do not need to be subscribed to the announce list to post there. Any subscriber to the regular lists is permitted to post. Using sca-east-announce
To post a message to all the list members, send email to sca-east-announce@mail.indra.com. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to sca-east-announce
Subscribe to sca-east-announce by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
